The Mr Ralph Journey

The Mr Ralph Journey began while I was working on my home renovation. I couldn’t afford the lighting I liked, and I didn’t like the lighting I could afford.

After much investigating, I found that by designing lights in- house and building relationships with manufacturers overseas, I could provide beautiful affordable lighting. This allowed me to turn my passion for lighting into a business; my faithful Jack Russell, Ralphie, the inspiration for the name.

From design to manufacturing, our lighting criteria is uncompromising - every product offered in the Mr Ralph range is beautiful, well designed, constructed with quality and complies with AS/NZS standards.

To keep up with the latest trends, we look for inspiration throughout the world of lighting design. We are also proud to collaborate with a growing number of New Zealand designers including sought-after David Trubridge designs.

At Mr Ralph, we have a passion for helping people find the perfect lighting solution. For us, creating a great customer experience is at the heart of what we do.

We have an online shop where we are always happy to give advice and help on products and placement. Our 30-days return policy is famously generous, and we provide free shipping to all our customers. In addition, our design studio, which has been deliberately placed in provincial New Zealand, showcases our entire range and is where we offer in-studio design consultations.
