Otama has been crafted in Galvanised Steel which has been dipped in molten zinc during manufacture to create the Hot Dipped Galvanised Finish.
The appearance of 'runs' and roughness in the finish is a part of the process and an intrinsic part of the product. This rustic appearance is more durable to combat harsh outdoor and coastal environments, however It is recommended to frequently wash the fittings with warm water and a soft brush to remove salt and achieve the longest possible lifetime of the fitting.
